Gov Ayade pays condolence visit on Ndoma-Egba over loss of wife
Governor Been Ayade Tuesday, paid a condolence visit on former Senate Leader Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN) to commiserate with him over the death of his wife, Amaka.
Amaka had about two weeks ago died in a ghastly motor accident in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Speaking at Ndoma-Egba’s residence in Abuja, Sir Ben Ayade who expressed shock over the unexpected passing of Amaka also said “she has left an eternal vacuum in the hearts of many.
“Amaka, I just can’t believe this story. Death is a shame. It goes for the unripe fruits. Rest in peace. Rest, for your gentle soul does not deserve this sinful world”, Ayade said while signing the condolence register.
The Governor urged the former Senate Leader to take solace in Christ as no one could question the actions of God, adding: ‘Amaka’s death, although very painful to us mortals, is a plus in heaven’.
Reacting, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba thanked Ayade for grieving with him over the loss of Amaka.
Ndoma-Egba, who visibly agonised the sudden demise of his dear wife said “she is irreplaceable.”
